Listening analytics
Your own listening stats — top tracks, artists and albums — computed locally on your device.
SimpMusic can keep a private log of what you play and turn it into listening statistics. The log never leaves your device; this is not the same thing as sending history back to Google.
Turn it on
Analytics starts empty until you enable logging.
Go to Settings → Content and turn on Local tracking listening history.
Keep listening — stats build up from plays recorded after you switch it on.
Open the Library tab and tap the analytics icon in the toolbar.
The setting is off by default, and history is only collected while it's on. Turning it on today won't retroactively fill in what you played last month.
What the screen shows

Each section has a More link that expands the full ranked list.
Date range
Everything on the screen respects a date filter, which you can set to:
- Last 7 days
- Last 30 days
- Last 90 days
- This year
If there's nothing recorded in the selected range, the screen says so rather than showing empty charts.
Privacy
This feature is entirely local — the log lives in the app's own database and powers only this screen. It is independent of Send back listening data to Google, which is a separate setting, off by default, and only does anything when you are signed in to YouTube.
